RESOURCES FOR OLDER ADULTS
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
Provide suicide-prevention service to anyone in suicidal crisis.
National Coalition on Mental Health and Aging
A resource for information about mental health and aging. Topics include depression, anxiety, diversity, elder abuse, family caregiving and more.
Links older adults and their family members to state and local area agencies on aging (AAAs) and community-based organizations that can help them remain at home and in the community.
American Association of Retired Persons (AARP)
Provide information on a variety of issues including long0term care, retirement, financial and legal resources, etc.

4th Annual Older Adult Mental Health Awareness Day Symposium
Depression Screening and Intervention by the National Council on Aging
A prevention research center tool showing evidence of effectiveness. It is designed to reduce symptoms of depression and improve quality of life among older adults.
